During the initial phase, Mendelson Group meets with clients to get to know them and to fully understand their needs and goals for the project. These discussions cover all aspects of space planning - from life style to aesthetic preferences to budgets - and form the basis of the overall design approach.

Once the program has been formulated, Mendelson Group prepares construction and lighting plans and detailed furniture layouts. Upon client approval of these plans, designs for the decorative elements are created.

Mendelson Group presents design schemes for the client’s approval. These include construction materials – such as flooring, stone or tile surfacing, and hardware – kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings, lighting systems, and all decorative elements – such as floor and wall coverings, window treatments, furnishings and fabrics.

When the design schemes are approved, purchasing begins. Orders are placed and preliminary delivery schedules arranged. During this phase, vintage or antique furnishings are selected and purchased with client approval. When purchases are complete and ready for shipment, an installation date is determined.

Mendelson Group schedules and oversees deliveries to the project site and coordinates and supervises installations of floor coverings, lighting fixtures, window treatments, and audio/visual equipment. Furnishings are installed according to the design plans, art-work is mounted and decorative accessories are arranged.

This is the moment of Mendelson Group’s greatest satisfaction – the delivery of a complete and beautiful space that fully measures up to the client’s expectations.
