NORTH FORK COTTAGE
With barely an original wall left in place, we transformed this 1920s cedar-shake fixer upper into a whimsical, bright and cozy getaway. To accommodate the clients’ entertaining needs, we created an open, combined living and dining room area with expansive sliding glass doors overlooking the water.
Instead of familiar Hamptons neutral tones, we went for a more dramatic palette. Printed wallpapers, luxuriant trims, and an occasional monkey theme reflect the clients’ taste for a touch of fantasy. Equally calming and joyful. Sophisticated, yet playful.
